to Warbird Photography.
Welcome to the realm of Warbirds. This site is to show the
beauty of an age gone by in military aviation. Todays planes are technical beyond belief, and are designed by computers beyond
belief. But old Warbirds were designs by real people with pencils and slide-rules. Modern planes have a beauty of their own,
and a sound of their own. But nothing beats an old radial starting up and puffing smoke and struggling to catch and finally
smoothing out at idle. To me, the World War 2 era planes are the most beautiful. I hope you will enjoy the photos I present
on this website. I will be rotating the photos occasionally.
site is dedicated to all the ones who labor to keep these planes flying , And most of all to those who gave their lives
flying them in the wars and for public displays.
photos on this site can be purchased framed and matted, or just the print alone. The photos presented on this site are of

All of the photos on this site were taken with either a Canon 20D ,30D or a EOS
1D Mark III. For the aerial shots, I use a Sigma 50-500mm telephoto lens. For most other shots, I use a EF 24-105mm image stabilized, EF-S 10-22mm or a 16-35mm. I also use a Canon 580 EX and a 420 EX flash. For editing I use Adobe Photoshop CS2.
